A closed 8-week in-person group for men of color focused on connection, accountability, and emotional skill-building.
Starts: Tuesday, Feb 17th, 2026, at 6:30 PM
Location: 208 I St. NE, Washington, DC 20002

The Brotherhood is a structured space for men of color to build community and do real life work together. This group blends peer support with clear psychoeducation and practical tools for regulating emotions, strengthening relationships, and showing up with intention.
This is not a drop-in group. It’s a closed cohort designed to build trust, continuity, and momentum over eight weeks.
This group may be a good fit if you want:
You do not need to be “good at sharing.” You only need the willingness to show up consistently.
Each week follows the same structure, so the group feels predictable and safe. We’ll start with a brief arrival and check-in, then move into psychoeducation built around one clear concept with practical framing. From there, we’ll shift into a guided activity that supports reflection and structured sharing (always opt-in, with no pressure). We’ll close by integrating what you’re taking with you into real life, naming one takeaway and one action for the week ahead.
To help the work carry into real life:
To join the cohort, email Phillip. You’ll receive the next steps and any screening details needed to ensure the group is a good fit.
